Calatrava Around the World!

- admin

When I traveled to Valencia, Spain I got to visit some of the modern architecture designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. (I blogged about his City of Arts and Sciences earlier- check it out if you’re interested!) I was truely amazed and excited by what I saw and decided to make a list of some of his projects around the world I would love to visit if I get the chance. He did most of his work in Spain, but he has projects in countries all over such as Canada, U.S., Isreal, and Portugal.
Here’s a few of them!

Isn’t that just so cool?! It’s the Milwaukee Art Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (completed in 2001).

The Puente del Alamillo in Sevilla, Andalucia (Spain)- A bridge that allows access to an island called La Cartuja located in the Guadalquivir River, completed in 1992.

The Chords Bridge for pedestrians and trains, completed in 2008 in Jerusalem, Israel.

This one is on the top of my list. It is the Auditorio de Tenerife, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
