Hello again from Europe!
During our two days in Paris, we saw much, much more. Of course, we had to see the Eiffel Tower. When we got up to it I was in awe because it was such a magnificent sight! You should definitely see it at night, as well as in the day time. At night they light it up every hour on the hour so it sparkles. We were lucky to get there just as it was sparkling which was beautiful.
Next we went to Sacre Coeur, which means “Sacred Heart”. It is up on a hill so we had to take the funiculare, which is an elevator type car that took us all the way up. While it is yet another church among so many in Europe, what makes it unique is that it has a wonderful view since it’s up on the mountain.
Champs-Elysees was also a stop on our journey. It is the street to be when it comes to shopping. It had high-end stores like Louis Vuitton, Swarovski, Cartier, and many more. The Arc de Triomphe is also on Champs-Elysses.
Au Revoir from Paris. I’ll write again from my next European stop!
