Dorney Park was definitely one of the best amusement parks I have ever visited. It has rides for all ages, and rides ranging from water rides to roller coasters and traditional fair rides such as spinning turtles and a ferris wheel. And although it has tons of crazy rides, the entrance fee is comparatively cheap.
My favorite rides in Dorney were the thrill rides; I get a kick out of the adrenaline rush. Talon in particular is a very fast and wild coaster ride, with a zero-gravity roll, a vertical loop, an Immelmann loop (an aerobatic maneuver in which you perform a half loop followed by a half roll, resulting in a reversal of direction and increased height) and a corkscrew.
The other famous roller coaster is Steel Force. This coaster is the first roller coaster in the East that goes over 200 feet high. It actually drops 205 feet and has some amazing effects such as two tunnels, steep banks, and speeds reaching 75 miles per hour. It is well known as one of the world’s best steel coasters.
But the coasters and fair rides aren’t the only things to do at this park. Check out the water rides as well! With 22 waterslides, 2 huge and amazing wavepools, 2 lazy rivers and 4 kids water play areas, this water park is the coolest way to chill on a summer day!
Dorney is an amazing park to go to, especially on a hot summer day. There’s something for everybody, whether it’s thrills, chills, or relaxation. Trust me, if you want to go to an amusement park, go to this one!
