"the trusted voice of teens who travel"

A must do in Pennsylvania! If ever in the Pennsylvania area, I truly recommend that one goes to the Hershey’s chocolate factory in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
While visiting Philadelphia this summer, my family and I decided to take a 2 hour drive to Hershey, Pennsylvania where we were able to visit the chocolate factory. Although this is not where they produce all of the chocolate, this is a tourist spot where one may visit and see how chocolate is made.
One of the many things you can do there is create your own chocolate. While there, both my brother and I participated in this activity for the price of $14.95. We were able to choose the type of chocolate we wanted to make, the ingredients to be added in, as well as make your own candy wrapper. Other activities in the factory include making your own dessert as well and taking a tour which explains all the candies they make, how much milk is used and much more.
Whether you are a child or an adult, one will truly have a blast here! Being in a factory where candy is being produced daily makes you feel like you are in heaven. Essentially you are “candy heaven!”
Although this is not the main factory where all of the chocolate is produced, you still get the essential feeling by learning everything that goes on behind the scenes. I would truly recommend this if you are ever in the Philadelphia area and are looking to have a great time whether it is with family or friends, regardless of your age.
