“Pole Position Raceway is the place for indoor karting.” -NASCAR Champion Kurt Busch.
Indoor karting is the fastest-growing sport in the United States at Pole Position Raceway you’ll discover why. Indoor karting is not just for kids; it’s a great and exhilarating experience for everyone. So why should you go indoor karting at Pole Position Raceway? Not only do they provide adults with high-performance electric karts that accelerate quicker (45 mph) and handle better than any other indoor competition kart on the planet, they also provide junior karts for the kiddos over 48’ tall. Those karts have a maximum speed of about 20 mph. Also, you get to avoid the smelly fumes and unpredictable weather by going indoor karting.
Pole Position Raceway is located inside a state-of-the-art climate-controlled facility, so your comfort is guaranteed. They also offer a wide variety of race formats to fit everyone’s race preference. The typical race lasts about ten minutes, but it will be one of the most invigorating and thrilling ten minutes you’ve ever experienced.
Want to bring your buddies and come as a group? Not a problem. Pole Position Raceway offers group event packages that come in two- and three-race formats. This is what they call their Pole Position Challenge or Grand Prix. There’s even a four-race Super Pole offered exclusively at the Las Vegas track.
To enhance your indoor karting experience, each racer is given a Speed Sheet™ after every race. This high-tech Apple-based timing and scoring system allows each driver to check his or her race statistics (fastest lap time, average lap time, overall race results, etc.). This advanced computer program also allows competitors and spectators to view lap times and race positions on 10-foot-wide TVs in real-time during each race. You can even go online to view your results and the top times of the day, week, and month using Speed Sheet™.
Currently, Pole Position Raceway has seven tracks: two in southern California, two in Nevada, and one in Dallas, Oklahoma, and Jersey City. They do, however, have plans for increasing that number with others planned throughout North America. P2R Karting Inc. (the company that franchises Pole Position Raceway) is currently working to create a network of 20-plus tracks. That’s a lot of fun racing we have to look forward to!
Pole Position Raceway has easily the best track design for indoor karting in the world. A team of highly-trained professionals developed a track surface that is in between the “slick tracks” and asphalt tracks of the past. This revolutionary surface is simple enough for an entry-level driver and yet challenging enough for an experienced professional. Heck, the track has even received a stamp of approval from NASCAR Champion Kurt Busch, Supercross Champions Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed, and many more.
Pole Position Raceway uses buildings that are as large as 85,000 square feet (about two covered acres), which allows for tracks fast and wide enough to contain 13 karts at one time at some facilities. Pole Position Raceway also changes the course configuration several times a year to make your experience more challenging and provide diversity. Thus, drivers ware provided with the closest thing to real racing that most people will experience in their lifetime.
