"the trusted voice of teens who travel"

Hello all again! What started out as a normal trip to visit colleges in New England turned into something much more rewarding.
Upon arrival at Providence, Rhode Island, I was greeted with long, narrow, cobblestone roads and century-old brick buildings that alluded to the colonial period. The verdant trees consisting of an array of colors were attracting to every citizen. It was as if a giant rainbow had become three dimensional for everyone to enjoy. Walking down the quaint streets, I smelled the savory scents from the restaurants adjacent to each other.
One extremely memorable restaurant was Kitchen, in which one man took orders, made breakfast, poured drinks, cleaned up the dirty dishes and collected the check and tip. One might think that this sort of setup wouldn’t generate that many people, but Yelp and the ambient atmosphere displayed otherwise. Although it was extremely small, people there seemed to enjoy their food with pleasure and happiness, demonstrating the success of this man. The dish I had was simple chocolate chip pancakes with a slice of bacon. The chocolate chip pancakes were made with gigantic chocolate chips and thick pancake slices, which made the taste more rich and appetizing, unlike the very thin-sliced pancakes from some restaurants The Kitchen’s pancakes’ thickness was extremely noticeable. The height of them was roughly 0.25 inches, allowing room for more chocolate chips and other assorted toppings to be inserted. Since the pancakes had more room, the chocolate chips the owner used were also larger in size, giving the pancake much more appeal and splendor. Other than the delicious pancakes, the slice of bacon I ordered was no ordinary slice of bacon. This bacon was the thickest, juiciest and tastiest cut that I’ve ever had. Writing about this already made my mouth water.
The rest of the day in Rhode Island was indeed filled with adventures and memorable visits to universities and restaurants. I certainly cannot wait to return there!
