"the trusted voice of teens who travel"

Looking back at all of our family pictures, I found our scrapbook on Hawaii. My favorite pictures came from Hanauma Bay, Oahu, Hawaii. This is a very touristy place, due to its stunning natural features.
You can literally see all the reef because the water is so clear! Once you are down there, you can see how there is snorkeling gear being sold there, in case you didn’t bring your own.
Beforehand, you are asked to watch a video about wildlife safety, because these creatures are in their natural environment and they are only there for visitors to see not touch. Remembering back, I remember encountering an octopus! At the time, I just remember thinking how weird-looking the octopus was. Their swift movements as it went back into its tiny little hole was crazy! This huge octopus fit into a little tiny hole, I was just in shock! There’s actually a YouTube video that somebody posted about seeing another octopus that looks exactly like the same one I saw: here.
There were so many fish, turtles, and eels that could be found. I snorkeled the whole time because seeing the different fishes interact with each other and go into their home was really amazing.
If you plan on visiting Hawaii (Oahu, specifically), I highly recommend visiting Hanauma Bay! Check out their website for more information, click here.
