Spring Break: a time for beaches, sand, pools, relaxation, and of course, traveling! Over Spring Break, my family and I visited San Diego and Tijuana and Rosarito, Baja California. Our trips included visiting 2 beaches and the hot springs again. You could read more about the hot springs here.
The first visit was to Belmont Park in San Diego. This is similar to Santa Cruz, California where there is a boardwalk, roller coasters, and food! This beach is beautiful, but it tends to get really packed, especially during those hot summer days! Bracelets are available for those wanting to ride the rides there. We even saw a baby sea lion there!
The second beach was Rosarito Beach. Located in, you guessed it, Rosarito! The beach is always buzzing with activity. There are clubs nearby with good music and there are always people trying to sell you something. So on my visit, I got cornrows! They were $4, which is not bad at all, because on a cruise we went on, they were for $75 the same ones!
In Florida, the prices are insane!
Lastly, the hot thermal springs in San Carlos:
Basically, you rub clay all over to exfoliate your skin. Then you get into the super hot Jacuzzi-like-natural pool and take off all of the clay. It helps clean your skin. Afterwards, your skin is like a baby!
Spring Break is all about relaxation and having fun with family and friends! Or sometimes it’s about spending time at home catching up on TV shows on Netflix. I enjoy both but the point is to have fun!
